So I tried sushi for the first time and it happened to be here. My cousin ordered 3 different plates which were the lime roll, albacore sashimi and salmon sushi. The first thing I tried was the lime roll. I expected it to have a very fishy taste because after all, it is raw fish...but it didn't. It sort of just melted in my mouth. All of the different flavors it had kind of just combined very well and it tasted really good.
I did not try the salmon sushi because for a beginner I think it would be too overwhelming. I did however try the albacore sashimi. I didn't go crazy over it. It sort of lacked in flavor. Just felt like I was chewing on a slab of raw meat with no taste. However, I definitely think I'm a roll person. I probably won't try anything other than rolls until I'm more "sushi advanced" lol. I will definitely be back for their lime rolls though! -

Look at how easily a place can go from 5 stars to 1 Star. All because of their front desk host . This guy is ridiculously rude. We were 10 mins late and he put us on the bottom of the list making us wait more than 45 minutes. Unbelievable .

My favorite sushi place. Always fresh, always delicious and always consistent with taste. You ate something you liked? Don't worry it'll be made the same exact way the next time you come -

We waited 1 hour for a "25" minute wait but it was worth it. This is always my go-to spot because it's always the same quality. Fresh fish that tastes good! The truffle edamame is sooo good and we keep it even if we're done just to dip our rolls in the sauce. Also strangely enough the ginger is really good and if you are obsessed with ginger you know what I'm talking about when it comes to the flavor. If this is a new spot you want to try I would definitely start off with the jalapeño salmon sashimi plate because it melts in your mouth (not exaggerated it's actually really good) and the yuzu roll and lemon roll. Their hand rolls are really good and I prefer mine seaweed wrapped. It says that they close at 10 but if you're already inside they just let you order food until "last call" and stay after 10:30.

My favorite place to go. Lime roll is the best roll. Great service and great food. Nice atmosphere and a overall great place to try!

Kabosu is one of the BEST sushi spots I've ever been to. This is a regular spot for my friends and I. It definitely gets busy so I recommend calling to make a reservation as soon as you can. Parking is easy on the street or even the Wells Fargo parking lot after bank hours. Now the sushi is something ELSE! You can't really make a bad choice when it comes to the menu. We always start off with the truffle edamame and a bottle of the pink Sake. A few favorite rolls: Yuzu roll, lemon roll, and baked lobster! The fish tastes so fresh, no fishy smell what so ever and that's coming from someone who is very picky with fish!
Cherry on top, the waiters and waitress are friendly and are very quick with bringing the food out!
